Welcome to Part Two (finally) of my Fall Home Tour with Natural Accents!
Like so many of my weeks lately, the past two didn’t go according to plan, so this post is a few days late. Alas, such is life, right?
For my fall decor this year, I went with traditional fall colors (especially on the front porch) and lots of neutrals. Most of my details are nature-inspired. There’s nothing I love more than bringing the outside in!
Here are a few more photos of our front porch.
I spend so much time out here! My husband and I have coffee here on the weekends, and it’s a beautiful place to sit and read and sip a cup of tea.
You can see the dining room in part 1 of the tour HERE.
My mums bloomed at the perfect time for these photos. Aren’t they lovely?!
Now, it’s into the family room! We spend a ton of time in this room, so I always try to keep the cozy vibe going.
Oops! I forgot to fluff the pillow! ;0)
You can get more details about this DIY Wall Art HERE! It adds so much to the room, and it’s easy to add a couple of details, like the wreath around the deer and the gold leaf stickers on the stamps, and give it a fall feel.
I was so excited when I picked up this rake at one of our local stores. I’ve been looking for one for a long time but couldn’t find one with the right feel.
This one definitely has the right feel: vintage, distressed, a little beat up, covered with paint.
This is our family room mantle.
I struggle with decorating it (and photographing it), because it’s very deep and long. Plus, it has a window in the back of it. I don’t like to cover the window up, and it’s difficult to prop items against it. It’s right above our TV, too, so I try to keep the decor simple to avoid a cluttered look (because all of the game systems and cords make it plenty cluttered). :0)
Leaves from our maple tree…
I don’t do much decorating in the kitchen, because we don’t have a ton of counter space, and I don’t want it to look cluttered (are you sensing a theme?).
Just a couple of fall touches placed outside of the work area, and it’s good to go! And, of course, I have to have my fall candles going!
Want to pin it? There’s an image for that! :0)
And that’s it for Part 2! You can see part 1 HERE!
What are you favorite fall colors and details?
Thanks for stopping by today! I loved sharing my home with you!
