Hello, friends, and happy almost spring!
I am SO ready for spring. We’ve had 4 foot piles of snow in our yard since November.
Because I’m so ready for spring, I got my spring decorations out this weekend and went. to. town! And today I’m sharing My 2016 Spring Mantel with Natural Elements with you!
My 2016 Spring Mantel with Natural Elements
So, technically, this isn’t a mantel. It’s the side board in my dining room, but I love to decorate it like it’s a mantel!
*Psst, I’m not a fan of our real mantel, which is why you don’t see it very often, if at all. We’re brainstorming lots of DIYs to make it prettier, though.
Like most of my decorating, this “mantel” is full of natural elements: eggs, birds, flowers and greenery, a nest, a pine cone.
Isn’t this art collage awesome?! I snagged it a local store filled with natural and county decor. I love that place!
I also moved my printers tray from our Farmhouse Industrial Shelves to the side board/mantle.
*Stay tuned! I’m thinking you’ll get a look at these shelves in my St. Patrick’s Day Home Tour coming next week!
And that’s my spring mantle. What did you think?
Later this week I’ll share the how-to of that neutral St. Patrick’s Day garland!

Stopping by from the one project closer linkup! I love how you created a mantle space without the “traditional” mantle over a fireplace. I love the bird’s nest, too!

Hey, Lauren! Thanks so much for stopping by. I LOVE meeting fellow bloggers! I’m so glad you appreciate my “mantel that isn’t really a mantel.” 🙂 I so enjoy decorating with birds’ nests this time of year. Wishing you a fun and relaxing weekend!
