Getting Items from Point A to Point B
Hauling items from point A to B then to C and finally to D (or E, F, G…) can be the biggest challenge for workers with mobile work “spaces.”
All things wheeled to the rescue!
Whether you’re moving from one room to another within a single building or moving from your car to various buildings, or some other combination of movement during your work day, these wheeled bags, crates, and carts will make the transition much easier.
Getting Items from Point A to Point B – Without Wheels
If you have a small number of items you need to move from point A to other points, a rolling crate or bag might be overkill. But a bag might be just what you need for added convenience and efficiency.
Check out these bags with plenty of room for storage and enough compartments and pockets to keep you seriously organized!

From the humble clipboard to a full mobile desk, you’ll never have to try to write those notes using your hand as a backboard.
I’m a big fan of clipboards! They’re easy to transport, fit anywhere a notepad or laptop can and provide a solid surface for writing. They’re the perfect option for creating a work space no matter where you roam!
This clipboard has extra storage space for all the supplies you’ll need while working mobile.
A lap desk is another way to create a work space almost out of thin air, and you can work on it while sitting in anywhere.
If you find yourself often working in your car, this steering wheel mounted desk will come in handy. No more tweaking your back trying to twist around to use the middle console!
And here’s that full desk that I mentioned at the beginning of this section. This has storage compartments and folds up to be transported via the two handles. You can hang it on any wall to give yourself a space to work!
Staying organized is even more important when your office is mobile. These organizers can help keep your items organized and ready to be on the go at a moments notice!
Paper Storage & Organization
Paper organization and management is a struggle in any office, but when you’re mobile, it can become an overwhelming disaster in an incredibly short time frame.
Stay organized with these paper storage and organization tools that are mobile, too!
I’m a huge fan of binders for any kind of paper storage. I use them in my home office, and I often go mobile with them for meetings, conventions, and work sessions.

A file box is a great tool for your mobile office. Not only can you store papers in hanging folders within these boxes, many also have smaller storage compartments in the lid for pens, paper clips, and other small office supplies.
Tools & Gadgets
Tools and gadgets can make working in a mobile office more convenient and enjoyable!
This mouse is small and perfect for when you don’t have a desk.
Did you know that the skin pores on your fingertips are extremely sensitive to changing levels of stress? This is called Pip, and it accurately captures these changes and through biofeedback, allows you to visualize them. If you’re working on decreasing stress and remaining more calm and focused during the work day, Pip can help you make progress toward that goal!
Organization for Small Items
It’s the little things in life….
That make the biggest messes! 😉
Keep all of the little things in your mobile work space corraled with these organizers.
