When it comes to tax receipt organization there are as many systems as people stressing about taxes this time of year. 😉 To make life a little easier for you during this harried time of year, I dug through lots of systems and compiled a few of the best and easy ways to organize tax receipts. Let’s get to it!

I love the idea of using a small, space-conscious expandable file to corral and organize all receipts.
I’m also excited to try taking photos of business receipts with my Evernote app for quick filing and digital storage. A tip I picked up from this post!
There are several great tax organization tips in this post, but I especially love the suggestion to tape your receipts to a piece of 8.5″ x 11″ paper, so you’re filing full-sized pieces paper rather than those small, annoying, crumpled receipts.

This post is a quick read (my favorite kind), and I love the organization combo of envelopes and a 3-ring binder! I use an envelope, but I put all of the year’s receipts in together. I think I might have to switch over to this method!
