As part of my home office makeover, I want to brighten up my work space with a white desk. I also want a desk with storage so I can keep my business space organized, but the budget is tight on this home improvement project so affordability is key.

I recently jumped online ready to find ideas and inspiration and today, I’m sharing my favorite affordable desks with added storage with you!

I’ll also tell you which option is going in my home office (hint: it’s an Ikea gem).

These desks came out at the top of my favorites list during my research for a new, white, and bright work space.

Today I’m sharing why I like each of these options (and why I don’t), then announcing the big winner that will find a new home in my office!

South Shore Crea Craft Table

This desk (aka craft table) is on wheels, has a sliding shelf, storage drawers, and a scratch-proof surface. There are plenty of storage options with this desk, as well.

I’m not loving that the drawers are open on the sides…not conducive for keeping my carefully arranged desk organizers in place. Also, no file drawer, and I definitely need that.

Monarch Specialties Hollow-Core Left or Right Facing Corner Desk

I’m loving the combination of the drawers and shelves with this desk. Having both opens up my ability to organize. Plus, adding fun baskets or canvas bins is a great way to add texture and a pop of color to my work space!

South Shore Artwork Craft Table with Storage

This is another craft table.

I think I’m drawn to them because they offer a larger variety of storage options than traditional desks.

And I love how this desk offers different configurations, so I can semi-customize the layout to fit my organization needs.

Broadview Pure White Desk with Drawers and Organizer

This desk had me at “organizer!” 😉

Although it looks a little lighter on storage than the other options, I like the desktop organizer, because it would keep everything within arm’s reach (handy for quick clean ups). It also has a file drawer.

IKEA Linnmon/Alex Desk

And the final option in the best affordable desks with added storage round up is an IKEA gem!

This is the Linnmon/Alex Table, and the drawer space is making my organization lovin’ heart beat faster just thinking about how I’d store all of my stuff in this beauty!

With this desk, I’d opt for the top that’s 59″ in length, because I spread out when I work.

I’d also swap out the legs for a second Alex Drawer unit, but I’d go with the one that has a file drawer.

And the Winner is….

You’ve probably already guessed, but for me and my home office makeover, the winner is the Linnmon/Alex desk!

I like that there are size options for the work space. I love that there’s a file drawer, and I can’t wait to put my organizing skills to use with all of those drawers!
