Mastering the Art of Zones: Jennifer at Pigskins & Pigtails
Jennifer’s space does quadruple duty as her office, craft room, screen printing studio, AND guest room. She’s clearly a master of the art of the work zone.
By creating dedicated spaces for each role this room serves, she maintains an organized and productive work space!

A Balance of Open and Closed Storage: Christene at Keys to Inspiration
Storage is key for any workspace, and I love how Christene balanced open and closed options!
It’s fun to style shelves and store things in a visually pleasing way, but we also need storage for items that aren’t as pretty or organized in an aesthetically pleasing way, right?
Christene’s office balances these storage options beautifully, and that peel-and-stick wallpaper and navy blue paint is giving me all the heart eyes!
*This office also has defined zones to help with organization and productivity.

A Customized Paper Organization System: Erin at Sunny Side Up
You guys, Erin’s workspace gives me some serious office envy! The built-in storage, the work table, the computer area, the visual planning space….
One of my favorite parts is the customized system that Erin set up to organize and store all of the paper associated with her urgent to-do’s and in-progress projects!
If you struggle with paper clutter, especially paper associated with in-progress projects, follow Erin’s lead and create a place for it to live when not in use.
Another tool for tackling paper clutter is the tickler file. I use mine to store supplies related to in-progress projects. Learn more: Get Organized with a Tickler File.
Open Shelving That’s Functional AND Pretty: Amanda at Strawberry Chic
I love how Amanda used the open shelving in her office as a display space for a few of her favorite things and added accessories to create functional storage for office supplies and frequently used items.
By incorporating file boxes, bins, and free standing desktop drawer units, she was able to store and organize items while maintaining a beautifully organized display!
I recently spent some time reorganizing the shelves in my office to create functional and visually pleasing displays. Stay tuned for the before and after and a step-by-step guide to the process coming soon!
Making the Most of Vertical Space: Diane at In My Own Style
Few of us have ideal workspaces and a lack of space is a frequent struggle. That’s why I’m a HUGE proponent of going vertical to make the most of your office space, and the craft area of Diane’s office is a perfect example of that!
Just look at all of the storage space Diane saves by using her wall space to store those craft supplies. I love this efficient use of space. Plus, those supplies are right at her fingertips, which leaves more energy for creativity and crafting!
When I first updated my office, I relocated my craft room to the closet in the space. See How I Squeezed a Craft Room Into a Closet.
